Why I Rebranded from Foxglow to BECKA

Jun 9, 2026

This wasn't just a name change.

It's a decision I sat on for a long time, one that came from years of building, learning, refining, and growing. Not just the business, but myself as well.

I wanted to share the real reasons behind the change from Foxglow to BECKA PARFUM, so you understand what’s evolved, and why this chapter feels like the right move.

1. The brand no longer aligned with my long-term vision

When I first created Foxglow, it reflected where I was at the time. But as the business evolved, so did my vision. The direction I'm moving in now is more elevated, more intentional, and more expansive, and the old name no longer captured that. I needed a brand that could grow with me, not hold me where I started.

2. The name didn’t stick

Foxglow was often misspelt, misheard, or called something else. That might seem small, but it matters. A brand name should be easy to remember, easy to say, and easy to recognise. When people can't quite recall or repeat your name, it creates confusion, and I felt that.

3. The branding felt too soft for what the brand really is

The visual identity leaned more soft, feminine, and slightly playful. But the heart of this brand has never been about that. It's about confidence, strength, and presence. It's about how you feel when you wear something that elevates you. The branding needed to reflect that energy more clearly.

4. The branding didn’t reflect the quality of the product

The product has always been high quality, that has never changed. But visually, the brand didn't fully communicate that. And perception matters. People often judge quality before they ever experience it, and I knew the brand needed to match the standard of what I was actually creating.

5. The pricing didn’t reflect the true value

For a long time, I underpriced the product. Not intentionally, but because I was still finding my footing. Pricing isn't just about numbers, it's about positioning. When something is priced too low, it can unintentionally signal lower quality. That didn't align with what I was offering, and it was time to correct that.

6. I outgrew the old brand

Foxglow fit the version of me who started the business, but not the version of me running it today. Growth requires letting go of what no longer fits, even if it once did.

7. I wanted something more personal

BECKA PARFUM is more than just a name, it's a reflection of me. My standards, my taste, my vision, and the intention behind everything I create. It feels more aligned, more honest, and more grounded in who I am.

8. The product finally has a brand to match

Nothing about the quality has changed, it’s always been there. But now the branding reflects it. The identity, the direction, the presence, it all feels aligned.

What this means for you

You'll start to see a more polished experience across everything, from the packaging to the overall feel of the brand. More refined, more intentional, and more aligned with the quality of what you're actually receiving.

Because BECKA PARFUM is about quiet confidence, everyday luxury, and feeling put together without trying too hard.

This rebrand isn't about starting over. It's about finally matching the standard I've always had behind the scenes.

Because when something is truly aligned, you don't just see it, you feel it.

And if you've been here since Foxglow, thank you. You've been part of the journey that made this next chapter possible.
